Your Role
- You will design and program algorithms for software-defined radios and implement them primarily in Xilinx FPGAs
- You will design and expand concepts for transmitter/receiver architecture
- You will optimise algorithms in terms of energy consumption, memory and logic size
- You will be responsible for sub-projects, including the creation of work packages and the estimation of time and resources
- You will independently carry out functional and hardware tests, including error analysis and troubleshooting
- Together with our software development team, you will accompany an assembly from the initial idea to series production
- With your technical knowledge, you will drive forward topics such as code quality, maintainability and (execution) performance
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable field of study
- You have knowledge or practical experience in FPGA programming with SystemVerilog and VHDL
- You have initial experience with communication protocols such as AXI, Ethernet, PCIe and SPI
- You also have basic knowledge of the scripting languages TCL and Make
- You have experience with the development tools Xilinx Vivado, Xilinx Vitis, co-simulation with Aldec Riviera Pro and CocoTb or similar
- At least a basic knowledge of software-defined radios, communications engineering, high-frequency or antenna technology is desirable/additionally advantageous
- You describe yourself as a team player, are reliable and always on the lookout for exciting challenges
- A structured and independent way of working as well as very good German and good English skills round off your profile
