Your Role
- You will develop future self-organising radio networks for smart antenna applications
- Your activities will include the design, development and verification of data link layer protocols/algorithms
- The focus of your development work will be on designing concepts for mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) for innovative communication systems with directional
- ntennas and decentralised network management
- You will create the specification and architecture at the functional, logical and technical levels
- With your knowledge, you will drive forward topics such as code quality, maintainability and performance
Your Profile
- You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, physics or a comparable field of study
- You are familiar with real-time software defined radio systems
- You have knowledge of modern communication protocols, such as WLAN, 4G, 5G, or other waveforms
- You have in-depth knowledge of communication systems and the OSI layer model
- You have good programming skills in C, C++, Python, or similar
- You describe yourself as a team player, are reliable and always on the lookout for exciting challenges
- A structured and independent way of working as well as very good German and good English skills round off your profile
